  • This is for a replacement position for FSTS Integration SRE teams headcount based in GBS KL
  • Resource is required to support the SRE function of the Bank s critical Integration platforms MQHub and IMFT. The function includes supporting the entire Bank s MQ Infrastructure too. As a critical integration layer for the bank, 24x7 service availability is crucial and thus technical expertise on these technologies and appropriate staffing is essential in continuous supportability and stability. Apart from that, there are significant number of weekly changes and related incidents and we are anticipating increased volume in 2021 with the ever-expanding infrastructure. There are active plans to onboard MQ and IMFT in cloud too next year. MQHub upgrades on multiple hosts are in progress which require support from SRE.
  • Secondly, the resource is required to work on opportunities such as automation, ADAR, Chatbot as part of the SRE Transformation program which requires dedicated manhours along with other existing resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Keep production Integration Services system up and running to meet SLAs
  • Fix production problems in a safe and timely manner to minimize the duration of unscheduled outages
  • Part of SME/Support specialist pool in the command centre (CNC)
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for major production problems
  • Plan, manage and prioritize support activities.
  • Produce or contribute to status report on the Production Support function as required by SCBs standard reporting schedule
  • Work on monitoring improvements
  • Work on automation
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCESkills Primary:
  • Strong Websphere MQ Administration/Troubleshooting skills. (Mandatory)
  • Strong Websphere Message Broker Administration/Troubleshooting skills (Mandatory)
  • Strong system administration skills (Mandatory)
  • Preferred Datapower administration skills
Skills Secondary:
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills(Mandatory)
  • Willingness to learn new technologies

  • Positive attitude
  • Prior experience in support space (Preferred)
