Practical experience of testing embedded CPE devices / home gateways products - ideally with a software development background and a focus on automated test techniques. Developing and contributing to test specifications Test execution in line with BT CPE Automation Test Strategy IP layer embedded programming, Tcl/Perl/Python programming & an understanding of Linux is essential Working experience of Robot framework. Support for development & technical in-life investigations for Home Hub and other CPE. Maintenance and improvement of the CPE Platform Test environments Deep working knowledge of WiFi standards and an understanding of RF Fundamentals Practical experience of testing embedded WiFi devices including a strong understanding of CPE WiFi chipsets. Knowledge of using Ixia or Spirent Test Tools for WiFi Testing will be an advantage Very Good Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols & Broad Networking Skills The successful candidate will need to have strong track record in a number of these above areas.
