Job Description

Its fun to work at a company where people truly believe in what they are doing!The Transformation Office Project Manager (PM) will drive the organization to achieve our transformation goals by successfully leading and managing key transformation projects/initiatives. These projects are key to Epiq successfully implementing our three-year strategy and transforming our business for the future. The PM serves the needs of the organization by bringing discipline and measurement to the planning and management of key projects. The PM acts as a strategic business partner to key stakeholders and project sponsors by challenging the status quo, having difficult conversations, and championing approaches that lead to greater results.Essential Job Functions:

  • Working with the VP, Transformation, Global Steering Committee, key stakeholders and SMEs, facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables for an assigned project or initiative
  • Develops comprehensive project plans and structures, including resource requirements, timelines, accountability
  • Manages all aspects of the project, including requirements gathering, scheduling and work planning, communications, issue resolution, cost tracking, financial reporting and change management
  • Tracks project performance, to ensure the successful attainment of short- and long-term goals
  • Ensures projects meet design specifications and quality standards, and are completed in a timely manner
  • Provides support and direction to the assembled project team
  • Reports and escalates issues to VP, Transformation, Project Sponsors and Global Steering Committee as necessary
  • Develops and manages effective working relationships with all relevant parties
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
  • Ensures all projects adhere to the standards and best practices set forth by the Transformation Office
  • Effectively develops a working knowledge of how Epiq operates, both formal and informal systems and processes, and leverages this knowledge for the benefit of the project
Minimum Requirements Work Experience:
  • Large-scale project management experience in global, matrixed organizations
  • Experience leading corporate transformation and/or large-scale change programs (digital and/or process improvement)
  • Training in a project management discipline (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Agile), certification preferred
  • Excellent communicator, both written and oral
  • Excellent client-facing skills experience working effectively across all levels of an organization (C-suite through first-line management, SMEs, etc.)
  • Experience operating effectively in a matrixed, global organization and managing teams without positional authority
  • Experience with offshoring projects/programs (one project manager)
  • Experience with data management projects/programs (lifecycle management) (one project manager) #LI-RC1
