Improve/ upgrade the existing utility services across the manufacturing plants.Major ResponsibilitiesList the expected end results that must be achieved in order to fulfil the job purpose and the activities that help in achieving these results, with % of Annual time spent, or expected to be spent. This should total to a 100%.The format should be as follows: (1) VERB what is done; (2) OBJECT to what/whom; (3) APPROACH how is it done (activities/tasks) and (4) RESULT with what outcomeHeading utilities projects both green/brown field from project design to execution. Also, Improve/ upgrade the existing utility services across the manufacturing plants.Responsible for finalization of Utility requirements in coordination with process engineering and equipment teamStudy, analyzing and generates concept option requirements with new and present plants set up and operation studyDevelopment of the Utilities infrastructure with equipments efficiency of maximization and effective SOP for the new lineReview and approve of P&IDs, flow schematics, Hydraulic balancing, GA Drawing, ISO -matrices and IFC drawingsDesigning, detailing and validation of the project activities with respect process, utilities and entire facility requirements.To liaison with regulatory agencies including Boiler Inspector, Chief Controller Explosives and other technical statutory authorities on need basis, in order to ensure compliance to statutory requirementsExpert in managing maintenance operations and taking cost-saving initiatives to optimize efficiency of machines and enhancing overall organizational efficiency; experienced in design & developmentLead and mentor the utility team, including people development, training, effective communication.Internal & External RelationshipsWho does this job interact with to perform this role And for what purpose INTERNAL: IT team/ Finance teamEXTERNAL: VendorsSkills & KnowledgeState the minimum acceptable proficiency for this job.
