If you have a need for flexibility, then please discuss this with the Hiring Manager.Process Oversight & Control Center of Excellence (CoE) is part of Treasury CaLM organisation and is responsible for providing various value-added services pertaining to CCO, CDO and BIA related activities to CaLM Process & Innovation, Capital Assessment, Structural Positions and ICAAP CoEs. Additionally, Process Oversight & Control CoE works with Heads of Group, BI and BUK CaLM providing support for various strategy and planning related initiatives required to ensure operating efficiency and service level effectiveness.The role is critical to the Capital Transaction Cycle to deliver regulatory requirements in relation to ICAAP, BCBS239 and Enterprise Risk Management, and leads the development of a control culture across all Capital CoEs as outlined in the key accountability section.What will you be doing The individual in this role will need to split efforts between managing ICAAP delivery for Group, BBPLC Solo, BBI and BBUK and Process Oversight and Controls related deliverables with primary focus on ICAAP delivery during the annual and out-of-cycle submissions.Key accountabilities related to ICAAP delivery include: Develop and maintain the ICAAP Production Calendar. Develop the detailed delivery plan and interlock dates with key stakeholders, including governance. Track progress and provide status updates to ICAAP stakeholders and various governance reporting, Facilitate Lead the Group and Legal Entities ICAAP Steering Committees, which comprises senior management (CROs, CFOs, Treasurers) and pen minutes and tracking actions. This involves preparing and circulating papers in advance of the meeting and leading the discussion from a delivery, risks, issues perspective. Leading the Manage sub groups Legal Entity Working Groups of the ICAAP Executive Working Group, including Remediation Working Group. Preparing papers, influencing senior management, tracking progress and sending out daily updates. Manage the AE attestation process with senior stakeholders prior to delivery of documents to the Regulator Manage and identify risks & issues for the ICAAP deliverables, collaborate with stakeholders in remediation efforts and escalate to ICAAP Executive Working Group as necessary. Support end to end process and controls environment improvement efforts for ICAAP deliveryKey accountabilities related to Process Oversight and Controls include: Support Oversight and Control CoE to strengthen controls culture across CaLM CoEs and help create operating efficiency for their critical processes Collaborate with CaLM CoEs to implement best practices to elevate common understanding of front-to-back operating environment and controls Facilitate and coordinate with 2nd and 3rd Line of defense functions for all CaLM CoEs to operate in compliance with both internal and external banking regulations and risk environmentWhat we re looking for: Skills essential to support ICAAP responsibilities: Proven track record in managing large scale and complex finance processes/projects. Proficiency in structured project management methodology is a plus, e.g. Prince2. Strong Exceptional influencing and written skills and ability to manage senior stakeholders of the firm at Treasurer, CFO and CRO level. Previous experience of ICAAP preferable (not essential) Clear and strong verbal and written communication styleSkills essential to support Process Oversight & Controls responsibilities: Strong oversight and control experience and desire to innovate, drive change and collaborate at all levels of seniority to mobilize necessary actions Strong influencing, facilitation, and collaborating skills. Ability to work across functions to influence decisions of key stakeholders Good understanding of adjacent functions and the wider Group including the Group s governance structures Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work under pressure will be critical Good numerical, analytical, excel and PowerPoint skills Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage conflicting deadlines Strong ability to learn and digest complex concepts and communicate in a concise manner, and having a pragmatic approach to problem solving with reasoned recommendations.Working Hours The candidate must work London Hours. Governance meetings will typically take place around senior management diaries, with meetings taking place between 3pm to 5.30pm London Hours.
