Job Description

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:

  • Customer requirement specification analysis and effort estimation
  • Following SEP (Security Engineering Principle)
    • Security relevance questionnaire
    • Technical Security questionnaire
    • TARA (Threat & Risk Analysis)
  • Requirement engineering, Adherence to:
    • ASPICE process
    • Automotive Security principles
  • Feature Planning in Change request management such as ALM, RTC, etc.,
  • Clarification of responsibilities for shared components with security relevance (e.g. SecOC, ) and takeover of the security relevant parts
  • Development schedule for security software in cooperation with PCM (Project Component Manager)
    • Provide embedded cyber security timeline
    • Synchronization between security platform development, GUAM and project
    • Actively manage project security development and verification / validation
  • Manage security specific plant topics (together with CC/ESS, launch manager, PCM, PM)
  • Release of project security (provides release status to PCM)
  • Training of project team for handling of security software
  • Regular communication to the Superior on the project status, escalations, risk etc.,
  • Obtain acceptance from customer for the delivered work product and collection of customer feedback.
  • Be first point of contact for customer in case of any escalation and resolve on priority.
Requirements of the role:
  • Good understanding on product security
  • Strong Knowledge of Autosar
  • Good knowledge of the SW development life cycle
  • Automotive Embedded Knowledge / Experience
  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills
  • In-vehicle communication security development (CAN/LIN/Ethernet/Wi-Fi/BLE).
  • Knowledge of cryptography, key management, certificate implementation. Familiarity with AutoSAR architecture & embedded system software architecture.
  • Good hands on experience in C & Python.
  • Understanding in executing vehicle level cyber security attacks - Grey box testing (Command injection, data corruption, back doors, Man in the middle attack, sensor manipulation, network overloading/etc.) Cyber security assessment methods & tools. (Threat modeling & tools) Knowledge of IoT & gateway security is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with automotive functional safety & standards (ISO 26262, SAE J3061, ISO 27001, etc.) Knowledge of Data & file secure encryption and decryption methods
  • Awareness in penetration testing method

  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn new technical topics.
