Job Description

  • Plan and procure new gauges and instruments required at supplier end for the new development parts.
  • Provide technical support to suppliers in terms of the criticality of the part dimensions, its functional requirements, performance details etc.
  • Impart training to suppliers to make them aware on customer requirements
  • Conduct System /Process / Product audits at supplier end.
  • Plan calibration activities for the instruments/gauges owned by us being used for supplier support.
  • Co ordinate with supplier for the preparation of Control plans , Inspection plans for the newly developed parts.
  • Conduct capability study for the critical process to make the process stable.
  • Work as a Quality representative in a cross functional team for the New Product Development cycle.
  • Ensure that supplier follows the Quality System developed by us.
  • Solve all quality related problems working with supplier.
  • Initial Authorization of Control Plans ( Prototype )
  • Give approval for the initial samples
  • Take appropriate decision on quality issues encounter during the production trials
QualificationsRequirement:
  • BE Mechanical with 7-9 Years of experience in
  • Supplier development, Supplier sourcing, Supplier Quality.
  • Well versed with Aerospace Quality Standards, supplier audits etc
  • experience of working in a MNC will be added advantage
