Job Description

Job DescriptionKey Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the SW program version concerning technical content, quality, effort, scheduling, personnel capacity coordination, risk evaluation, ECU resources
  • Support Software System Designer for SW requirement analysis
  • Definition of a detailed SW integration plan based on theprogram version planning
    • Planning of the SW Integration packages in cooperation with project Software System Designer
    • Planning of the internal test-releases and testing phase in cooperation with project Software System Designer and test manager
  • Estimation of the SW program version- and SW series-release relevant efforts for the quotation
  • Ensuring of the communication and coordination with LabCar (HIL) and series release tool team
    • Timely planning of suitable LabCar and other necessary equipment/tools
    • Tracking of new requirements for automatic and manual integration tests, in cooperation with test manager
  • Tracking of the on-time delivery and the quality status of the requested work packages and module deliveries from external suppliers in cooperation with project Software System Designer and Test Manager
  • Measurement, documentation and monitoring of the ECU resources
  • Planning, coordination and delivery of ECU software to Bosch plant
  • Operative coordination of the SC-team and feedback to the manager
Mandatory Experience:
  • Experience in managing software projects for automotive embedded applications with respect to fulfillment of requirements, schedule, Cost and Quality
  • At least 5 years experience of software development and integration for Automotive Embedded System software projects
  • Experience in managing project teams
  • Experience in working across the complete V-Cycle of SW development process
  • Good know-how of embedded system SW build process, environment and tools
  • Experience in SW Configuration Management Tools
  • Advanced testing expertise in open/closed loop lab car (HIL) systems
  • Tools know-how - INCA, CANalyzer (or similar tools) and Vehicle diagnostic tools
  • Good Knowledge of C language programming
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of automotive domain
  • Working knowledge of RTOS, microcontrollers and peripheral HW (like ASIC)
  • Understanding of microcontroller core SW configuration and core SW interfaces with application software
