Job Description

Industry IT Industry Experience:5 + YearProficient in a compiled, typed, scalable, performant, non-garbage collected language such asC++ Prior experience in Python programming, and Database/MySQL development Prior experience in mapping technologies (Google Maps and Open Street Maps). Experience with the OSRM and other vehicle routing optimization projects are an added advantage Knowledge/familiarity of Linux operating system and bash scripting Experience working with constraint programming languages such as MiniZinc Prior experience building statistical models/algorithms to support demand planning and forecasting. Solid knowledge in heuristics, metaheuristics, mixed integer linear programming, clustering, and optimization problem, decomposition techniques and pathfinding algorithms Proven track of hands-on experience in building successful optimization products and problems such asVehicle routing problem, Capacitated Vehicle Routing with refills and Travelling salesman problem. Bachelor s degree with 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain & Logistics Operations focusing on route optimization & scheduling in B2B distribution, retail, or e-commerce organizations. Masters Degree preferred. Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metricsto drive decision-making Good communication skills and the ability to effectively discuss technical and non-technical Matters Understanding of agile development Experience working independently and with distributed teams in different time zones and,
