Job Description

Responsible for achieving business objectives by ensuring timely receipt, safe storage, accounting and issue of raw materials, packing materials, hazardous, flammable, toxic, pyrophoric, consumables, Stationaries, capital goods, etc., creating safe work place, satisfying internal customers and external stakeholder s i.e. regulatory authorities, statutory bodies and compliance from time to time.Qualification & Experience:1 0 + years of CRO related experience Proven leadership skills with extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams Key Responsibilities:
• Put a high vision to achieve the focused targets.
• Play a key role in ensuring the safety at all level.
• Work for bringing new ideas and process which will improve operational excellence in inventory management.
• Monitor material storage, zoning and activities related to issuance, stock posting in SAP and handling lab return chemicals. Regular inspection of bottle label, pack, seal and integrity check.
• Conduct regular safety checks in RT & cold store rooms, controls. LHA audits and documentation.
• Responsible for periodic handling of audits, walkthrough, visits & CAPA.
• Coordination with E&M for engineering supports and calibrations. Coordination with EHSS to train store personnel in safety
• Training of store personnel in terms of zoning and hazards related to chemicals stored in RT and cold stores.
• Coordinate with main store for material receipts and acknowledgement.
• Quarterly physical stock verification, reconciliation, maintain stock accuracy as system hygiene.
• Will look after activities like - submitting monthly statement to finance, handling inter unit stock transfers in coordination with end users, CAD and logistics department.
• Chemical sweeping as per SOP with necessary approvals and SAP updates
• Receipt of all kinds of materials such as room temperature, cold storage, hazardous, toxic, pyrophoric, flammable, explosive, reducing agents, peroxide forming chemicals, restricted, Licensed, controlled substance materials, reagents, general consumables, Lab items and packing materials.
• Do through verification, segregation, barcoding, and Storage as per chemical compatibility zones, appropriate temperatures, monitor and record cold room temperature as per SOP
• Label the containers with appropriate Zone identification, storage condition and expiry date and free from hand written labels and strictly follow the SOP, protocols, check lists as applicable to the activity.
• Material Issuances and receipt of lab return materials strictly based on reservation and return reservation request and Post all transaction entries and maintain the records including in SAP entries on real time basis and any time audit.
• Store the chemicals in an appropriate storage temperature recommended by the manufacturer with printed labels such as barcode, Zone identification, storage temperature and expiry date.
• Conduct physical stock verification quarterly as per SOP, find out stock mismatch if any and submit the report in audit summary report and correct the stock using appropriate SAP t-code and handover redundant chemicals to EHSS after getting necessary approvals as per SOP and protocol.
• Ensure 100% inventory accuracy always and inventory optimization.
• Responsible for Safety, sustainability, audit compliances, following SOP, protocols and real time record maintenance.
Educational Qualification:
• B Sc/ M.Sc in Chemistry with more than 12 years of experience
Technical/functional Skills: (Maximum 4-6 Points)
• SAP MM- Module
• Chemical knowledge, hazardous identification, compatibility storage and Safety system requirements
• Hazardous Risk identification, pro activeness and preventive measures.
• Cold and room temperature storage management
• Good documentation and SDS management
• Ability to handle emergency situations such as chemical spillage, fumes, flammable leak, firefighting etc.,
• Warehouse and Inventory management
• Communication skill
