Roles and ResponsibilitiesRole: Assistant Manager - API TestingReporting to : Senior ManagerFunction: TechnologyAge Criteria: Maximum age 30 yearsExperience: 3 5 YearsLocation: Delhi, Aero cityRole DescriptionTo design the overall testing & implementation of automated testing of all applications, in order to ensure development of a robust technology solution; Review functional requirements; design test plans, automate test cases and ensure that testability issues are addressed in the design lifecycle. The role holder would be responsible for working with the GST Application development, its integration with various systems, maintenance and developing enterprise capabilities.The role holder will look into the various aspects of portal development testing and automation, third party integration and develop open source utilities whenever required.Key ResponsibilitiesTo understand the business and technical requirements from the Application Integration / Value Added/ Other Applications in consultation with internal/external stakeholdersDevelop open source utilities, deploy and maintain it in various environmentsUndertake development based on Integration Applications / Value Added/ Other Applications blueprint in line with the envisaged planEnsure adequate testing & commissioning of developed applications and its compliance to desired specifications & requirementsEnsure all dependencies, priorities and risks are managed across with all relevant applications / stakeholders.Ensure removal of bottlenecks and hurdles for the smooth advancement of activitiesCreate in-house capabilities for application troubleshooting; enable quick problem resolutionEnsure timely preparation of MIS and Status Updates for circulation to the Top Management and other authorities as may be requiredProvide technical support to the business, and other relevant stakeholders, as & when requiredKey Attributes & Skills:B. Tech/ B.E. / MCA with min. 3-5 years of experience in software API Testing and maintenance at functional cum technical levelsMinimum 2 years of experience as an individual contributorStrong experience in object oriented programming using any of the platforms (Java / Python / Angular JS / .Net / PHP) is a must.Hands on experience in open source technologies, deployment, testing methodologies and frameworks.Hand on experience in API automation tool like, postman, SOAP UI, UI Path, selenium Hands on experience in RDBMS i.e. MySQL, MS SQL Server, OracleKnowledge of developer testing using jUNIT / TestNG framework.Added advantage if have knowledge of tools like, RQM, Bugzilla, HP or Jira ALM,
