Roles aKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assortment planning- By analyzing LY trend report, current sales scenario, vendor index and market trend. Significantly contributed in planning SS20 styles. Vendor management- Developing an adequate vendor base for the concepts and required attributes through scouting & negotiations. Building & maintaining relationships with vendors & suppliers for best deal. Merchandise procurement- Calling vendors at V2 HO for sample presentation, selection & evaluation with senior buyers and price negotiation on cost components. Sample development, counter costing, deciding mark down. Feedback to the vendor about styles performance, competition, quality, customer requirement etc. Working on Purchase Order- Closing orders for given specific period according to the planned OTB across sub-categories covering all attributes w.r.t. their contribution%. Ensure pre-orders are completed of core articles/colors/sizes and ensure best possible margin are maintained Maintaining T&A- Follow ups with vendors and making sure timely order deliveries. Tracking merchandise transportation from supplier to distribution center and ensuring smooth flow of goods. Ensure delivery of healthy bottom line margins and increased stock turn nd Responsibilities Stock consolidation- consolidating best sellers & core articles in top stores to minimize fragmentation. Identifying the Fast - Slow moving article of the Month/Season and take necessary actions. Inventory management- reviewing stock levels daily/weekly to maintain standard levels and creating action plan for shortages. Coordination with warehouse to get the GRC/GRN done in the terms of quality, designs, color & size Vendor & product research- Identifying alternative buying opportunities to source products and to ensure that company maintains its competitive edge by constant renegotiations. Sales analyzing Analyzing sales performance based on Reports and feedback from our stores and taking corrective actions. Various weekly & monthly reports to analyses sales, margin, inventory and purchase require plan. Closely monitor Gr% of category & take necessary action to continue the Gr%. Constantly monitoring Stores Sale and Stock levels as per the base stock & sale plan Sub Categories. Allocation following up with the stores on specific requirements & ensure that they are provided appropriate stock at the right time. Deciding MBQs and category contribution as per sales data. Follow-up on stock rotation/stock reports and takes necessary action on it. Follow up with the supply chain team on dispatches & deliveries. Push allocation as per store requirement Product Development-Analyzed & prepared range for private label by seasonal fashion forecasts considering best sellers and assisted PD & Design team in aligning in-house fabric & trims according to styles,
