Job Description

  • We are looking for a candidate with 10+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role. They should also have experience using the following software/tools:
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Experience building and optimizing big data data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
  • A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
  • Expert in working with Database (SQL Server 2008 and above) and having a minimum experience of 10+ years of experience
  • Having an experience in database designing for at least small to mid-size application
  • Candidate should have an experience in working on big data technologies Python, Spark, Athena, Glue
  • Good to have an exposure to working on Machine Learning technologies like R, Python, Sage Maker
  • Good to have or willing to take up a definable career experience in leading Services
  • Having an experience of leading a team of min 8-10 members.
Strong team management and organizational skills.Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.Experience with big data tools: Spark, Athena, Glue etc.Experience with any ETL tools like Pentaho, SSIS and having good knowledge of building and managing ETL processes.Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySql / SQL Server/ Oracle, Snow Flake.Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Formation etcKnowledge/certification on the ITIL processes will have an added advantage,
