Our Design Researcher has the ability to understand people and their desires, through observation, interviews and focus group discussions and with a desire to understand challenges and provide solutions. He or she should be able to promote thought leadership in the organisation and should be familiar with user centred design research methods. JOB DESCRIPTION Should be able to promote thought leadership in the organisation Conduct secondary research on the subject matter, create research tools including field guides and visual research tools for conducting field research Conduct field research in the form of in depth interviews and focus group discussions Consolidate and analyse data to derive interesting patterns Compile the findings from the research into a visually rich and elaborate report Should have strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with respondents of various socioeconomic backgrounds Should be willing to travel accross India and remote locations for conducting field work and should be able to work under pressure Knowledge of design softwares (like Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign) will be an added advantage Should be active on social media platforms (like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin) etc.
