Job Description

SOE Sales is a suite of application systems geared to support users within several internal departments to process a variety of customer transactions, including equipment sales and ordering, bill payments, equipment returns and repairs, account maintenance, pricing, inventory and discounting and rebates.Java Developer with familiarity of spring MVC, React , Angular and no sql technologies needed Candidate will be responsible for the design and development of applications utilizing full stack front end back end web framework , interface APIs and big data storage with open source platforms from streaming data ingest and search tools like elastic search and Solr. Experience with maven , git/svn , ant , eclipse and setting up dev ops preferred.Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems for customer engagement.
  • Design and maintain web applications and REST & SOAP API interfaces.
  • Responsible for the timely build, implementation and technical delivery of the product according to specifications.
  • Must be a team player and enjoy working in a cooperative and collaborative team environment.
  • Quick learner in adapting to new technologies and standards
  • Leverage a team of on-shore & off-shore developers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
What we re looking for.You will need to have:
  • Bachelor s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • One or more years of experience inJava EE development.
  • Excellent core Java skills including collections, algorithms, multithreading, OOP and design patterns.
  • Experience with J2EE framework (JSP, Servlet, EJB, JMS, JSF, JMX)
  • Experience with components in the Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Pig, Impala, Ambari, Oozie, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Mahout)
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra and Hbase.
  • Good understanding of parsing, querying and transforming XML, HTML, and JSON files.
  • Experience in creating and interfacing with SOAP/WSDL/XML/REST web services.
  • Experience in building or supporting web applications with JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML and AJAX
  • Experienced in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, JDBC, ODBC, SQL and ORM technologies.
  • Experienced with Scrum, test-driven development and Continuous Integration environments.
  • Experienced with Linux operating system and shell scripting.
Even better you have:
  • A degree.
  • Knowledge of HDFS, Map Reduce programming model and technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig.
  • Knowledge of Search technologies like lucene, Solr, Elastic Search.
  • Knowledge of Python, scala
  • Knowledge ofcloud services like AWS, Rackspace, or HP Cloud.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools like ODI , talend , Pentaho, Informatica, Pervasive, SSIS ,GCP , AWS , CICD , build tools , requirements etc.
