Job Description

- Responsible for Managing safe & secure work environment of the Centre.- Responsible for 100% Uptime of all Safety and Security Devices and their Integrated functioning, periodic Audit and Maintenance.- Responsible for periodic Fire and other Emergency pre- preparedness Drills per Industry safety practices at the Centre.- Responsible for implementing the Security policy and processes (SOPs), periodic Review and Audit.- Responsible for ISO Audits (ISMS & Others) at the centre along with Security Function Lead to the extent of WES Involvement.- Coordinate and provide on ground support to BCP Team during Emergency situations.- Responsible for uptime and optimal functioning of all e-security system installed and commissioned in the Centre. - Responsible for team building and development across centres.- Demonstrate leadership and inculcate EY values and culture in the team.Essential Functions of the Job:- Responsible for maintaining safe & secure environment at the centre- Performs security risk assessments based on vulnerability criteria to determine appropriate levels of protection and security necessary for site / location / events.- Ensure security alerts are understood by the Employees & leadership at the center and provide guidance in developing a response / mitigation plan.- Establish liaison and contact with external authorities like emergency services and law enforcement agencies at the local level- Analyse and validate the physical security personnel deployment at all the facilities in the center.- Identifying and assessing risks and develop plans to mitigate key risk exposures to people, operations, assets, information, intellectual property, and reputation.- Conduct Risk analysis with respect to physical security in the center and implement all measures to reduce financial loss, asset protection and employee safety & security.- Conduct Gap Analysis - Fire & Safety- Carry out scheduled visits across GDS India centres to monitor consistency on service delivery and update on current developments- Ensure Compliance and Coordinate ISO audits- Responsible for Implementing the Security policy & processes (SOPs), Audit and Review:- Implement Safety & Security policy and processes with relevant SOP as per the industry standards for all GDS India locations.- Ensure the classification of all security related documents are made and followed consistently across centres.- Periodical Audit, Review and resolution of Non-Compliances and provide updates to Functional Lead on Improvements identified.- Scheduled connects with Centre lead / Function Lead for updating New Risk identified and current process compliance and Areas of Improvement.- Create site specific document for key process, take sign off and institutionalize.- Responsible for vendor compliance pertaining to WES across all GDS India locations- Develop close relationships with high level domestic law enforcement authorities, Intelligence agencies and emergency service providers.- WES Service provider documentation, CLRA registration across all locations. - Ensure license from health / Fire Dept. for Lifts, all tuck shop operators / Food Courts at the centre.- Define SLAs for all security related vendors.- Coordinate and support Emergency Preparedness with BCP- Report all incidents and provide necessary information on any untoward incident / events across at the centre to Centre Lead / Function Lead / SL & SF Team.- Provide on ground security advice and support to BCP and crisis management team for all crisis situations- Ensuring ERP/ERT ratio across at the centre is maintained as per industry standards- Coordinate & conduct training/awareness sessions on security and safety for employees/service provider staff at the centres- Ensure mock evacuation drill is exercised at planned intervals in the centre and data analysed. - Assist in preparing regular assessment/update on environmental aspects and their impact on the security & safety environment- Responsible for tracking all Incidents, investigation, reporting and closure, - Responsible for providing inputs on e-security system design and standards for any new projects / fit outs- Testing e-security system / devices functionality test, ensuring PPM and AMCs are in place and agreed uptimes are maintained. - Security Data Backup, Retrieval and Reporting as required / prescribed by the Center Lead / Function Lead / WES Leaders.- Regular Mock Testing of Integrated Fire Alarm Systems and Reporting.- Responsible for team building and development across centres.- Team Skill Mapping and Gap Analysis- Identifying and Recruiting Talented Resources- Defining JDs of Team members and setting their goals, identifying KRAs and KPIs- Accountable for managing resources within the team, building their skills, ensuring a highly motivated group of resources.- Encourage team and coordinate for all Lead certification programs. - Maintain good collaboration within team members - Performance management- Team development and Career planning- To ensure succession planning.- Analytical/Decision Making Abilities and Values: - This role entails analysing Risks, Vigilant security measures and taking decisions on increasing the efficiency of safety of Employees / Assets. - Demonstrate integrity, values and hold high moral groundsKnowledge and Skills Requirements:Liaison with local law enforcement agencies and government agencies, government regulatory agencies and private industrial security counterparts as and when requiredEducational Qualification: Any degree or equivalent preferably with completion of few certified courses like (PSP, CPP, CSP, and ISO-27001) and from Armed Forces BackgroundExperience: Minimum 10 yrs. of relevant experience in process driven companies handling a team size of 3 - 5 members,
