Job Description

    The finance team oversees the finance and related compliance obligations for the Firms investment and co-investment funds, as well as investment holding entities. This individual will work closely with the Asia tax and finance team to support the Firms finance and related compliance process. The finance team works closely with the investment team, tax team, legal and secretarial team. The ideal candidate will need to quickly learn processes and actively build strong relationships across the firm. A successful team member will have the ability to wear multiple hats and help the firm grow and develop.Key Responsibilities- Supervision of books of accounts and audits (with Big4 auditors) of multiple entities- Knowledge of IndAs, IFRS, and consolidation of accounts- Knowledge of Indian foreign exchange control regulations- Managing capital calls and distributions- Oversight and facilitate the review of investment/divestment fund flows- Work closely with finance and compliance departments of portfolio entities- Monitoring of treasury operations including accounts payable, accounts receivables- Establish and ensure adherence to policy, procedures, and governance frameworks- Remain informed of regulatory changes and ideas- Participate in finance department/company projects and initiatives- Assist with the development, implementation, and update process checklists and procedures - Other special projectsThe ideal candidate is likely to come from a similar role or a CPA firm, demonstrating an aptitude for this breadth of responsibilities, and should possess:- Chartered Accountant and at least 6+ years of relevant work experience- Excellent written and communication skills- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills - Strong time management and organizational skills,
