Job Description

Routing protocols - RIP, OSPF, BGP4, MP-BGP, EIGRP

B. Tech or B Sc or Diploma in ECE or Computer Engineering, must be Certified CCNP / CCIP.

2 Years plus relevant experience in network support role in telecom service provider environment.

Excellent knowledge of communication standards and OSI/commercial protocols as follows:

Network protocols - MPLS, IP, Frame-relay.

Routing protocols - RIP, OSPF, BGP4, MP-BGP, EIGRP

Technologies - E1/T1, E3/T3

Professional level of knowledge and hands on experience on troubleshooting on Cisco Routers & Switches.

Taking care of Mpls Tech shift operation , ensuring call resolution as per target , attending calls logged by vpn and op team, daily configuration Changers for critical customers & network changes as & when required in core network.

Capability of quickly learning the other network platforms and technologies

Good communications skills

Possess excellent analytical and trouble-shooting skills

Ability to remain flexible with work hours and schedules when required (due to support required 24*7) and good team player.

Ability to multi-task quickly and efficiently handle pressure

Monitor systems. Using diversified tools to monitor performance and capability of computer systems.
Troubleshoot problems. Working to triage or troubleshoot the issues within their defined areas.

Capability of quickly learning the other network platforms and technologies

Good communications skills
