Job DescriptionResponsible for planning , development and implementation of organization s communication strategies , marketing activities , public relations activities , both external and internal. Directs the efforts of the communication team and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization.Job ResponsibilitiesMedia OutreachUpdate media database and be in touch with journalistsDraft press releasesDraft media pitchesSocial Media ManagementSupport the team with online campaigns and appeals.Support the team with developing marketing collatarals:EmailersPPTsDesigns for standees , flyers , brochures etc.Produce CAF India newsletter and other internal/ external reports:Co- ordinate with internal stakeholders for content compilationCreate newsletter outline and write contentCo- ordinate with designer for newsletter design and image creation;Co- ordinate with IT resource for newsletter construction for website and benchmark tool.Write beneficiary case studies:Co- ordinate with internal stakeholders (programmes and GAYE team) for content compilation;Write contentCo- ordinate with designer for design and image creation;Co- ordinate with IT resource to put up the case study on the CAF India website.Co- ordinate with BD and program teams for communications requirement.Co- ordinate with vendors for deliverables.Support CAF India s internal and external events:Do live digital coverage for event promotion ,Write event specific content for website/ blog ,Prepare event invitesClean up , Populate and Manage the CAF India database.Support NGO capacity building workshops.Work on video and audio content for CAF India.Any other task assigned by the Line Manager/ HoD.Qualification ExperienceGraduate degree or experience in relevant discipline with diploma in Journalism/ PR or Mass Communications.Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience.Demonstrated skills , knowledge and experience of writing press releases , editorials , case- studies.Demonstrated successful experience of writing for both online and offline.Preferred experience of working in the Not- for- Profit sector knowledge of project / program development and associated documentation , worked independent on documentation development for projects.CompetenciesExcellent writing skills.Excellent communicator at all levels.An eye for details.Ability to develop innovative and engaging content.Being able to deliver under deadlines.Experience in creating or sourcing content for websites/ social media postings/ blogs/ newsletter.Ability to adopt new vocabularies and work within specified guidelines.Able to work as part of a small team in a dynamic work environment.Computer literacy in word processing , data base management and page layout is desirable.It would be an asset if there is experience in development writing such as: Women issues , livelihood , health , gender issues.Location: The position will be based at the CAF India headquarters at New Delhi.Reporting ToLead Media Communications/ Sr Manager Marcom,
