- Provide technical pre-sales support for bids and proposals, with a focus on Satellite and Microwave connectivity, in addition to wireline IP networking- Liaise with satellite operators, broadcasters, vendors and partner companies to ensure best of breed solutions are adopted and offered in proposals- Work occasionally on-site with customers to provide installation services and support as required- Remain adaptable to the differing needs of the business as we evolveKey Skills- 5+ years relevant work experience- Excellent technical knowledge of data networking, including Satellite, Microwave and IP network connectivity with a recognised vendor qualification (CCNA/MCSE etc) and bachelor s degree in a relevant field- Experience of up-linking TV Stations and deployment of Earthstations, with an ability to prove the following technical capabilities- Technical site survey and installation of VSAT earthstations and link commissioning- Preventative maintenance and technical audit of installed sites- Coordination with Satellite operators for link budget making, it s implementation and UAT ASI/CPI Testing- Troubleshooting methodology and implementation, making of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Significant Event Report (SER)- Integration and commissioning of GSM sites on VSAT backhaul transmission- VSAT antenna installation, assembling and satellite tracing- Timeslot and data rate configuration- Spectrum analyser experience with Agilent, Rhode & Schwarz- Inventory management at hub end and remote earth stations- Wired and wireless network trouble-shooting and diagnostics- IP RAN/LTE and experience of working with cellular operators- SIP/VoIP experience a bonus- Excellent English skills and ability to collate information between internal contacts and partner companies to support strong business proposals- Proven ability to prioritise tasks, provide attention to detail and work proactively- Excellent communication, presentation, planning and organisational, and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)- Self-driven, results-oriented, creative, analytical and confident- Flexible approach to working hours and willing to work additional hours at short notice,
