Job Description

Working within a discipline, plans and conducts independent work requiring judgment in adaptation of information systems techniques, procedures and criteria in areas including application support, software engineering, software quality assurance and quality control. Devises new approaches to problems encountered to provide solutions to the customer. Supports discipline in the performance of complex and demanding assignments requiring initiative and independent judgment. Performs work that requires the application of a significant range of fundamental principles in a variety of contexts. Demonstrates a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving.

This Information Systems I reports to the SAP Development & Maintenance team and will act as a liaison between BBS HR (New Delhi) and Corporate System Application Support. Requires knowledge of SAP HR and SAP Payroll, combined with a understanding of system functionality. Participates in getting requirements from New Delhi BBS HR and Payroll functions and help in resolving issues related to SAP Payroll. Specific responsibilities include: Work directly with user team to ensure systems deliverables meet work process requirements. Analyze and diagnose applications problems in SAP SAP Tools (SPRO, SAP Debugger)

Gather requirements, recommend system solutions and enhancements to improve processes and systems and implement solution.

Configure SAP Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll Develop CATT scripts to assist in data conversions and mass data loads for users. Develop functional specifications in accordance with IS&T standards and procedures. Provide second level operation end user support. Work with training manager to ensure training materials and all documentation are updated with enhancementschanges to the SAP system.

Assist in development of test cases and coordinate enhancementschanges through testing. Actively solicits subject matter expert involvement and participation in testing.

Create OSS message and liason with SAP in resolving issues

Develop reports using Business Objects

Develop queries using Adhoc query tool set in SAP

Integration and Unit Testing for HR, Payroll and FI configuration

Requirements include: Minimum 2 year of SAP configuration experience, version ECC 5.06.0 or higher or equivalent functional experience. Extensive knowledge of Data structures, data flows and dependencies. Experience in implementation planning, gap fit analysis, testing, rollout and post-implementation support. Ability to translate functional requirements for system changes into specifications which the programmers can use to write code. Ability to perform successfully in an environment where meeting the customer s business needs and creatingmaintaining positive customer relationships are as critical as technical competency. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Provide guidance on requirements for system enhancements. Ability to assume significant responsibility and work independently.

Bachelor s Technology Science Degree - Preferred (Engineering)

Knowledge of a Software Application programming language

Knowledge and experience with software support, development, maintenance andor computer operations

Familiar with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) principles and the Software Development Life Cycle and real-world experience in implementation of SQA plans

Knowledge and experience in SAP Configration (HR, Payroll, FI)

Be able to work well in a distributed and cross-functional team environment

Assertive in learning new technologies

Skilled in oral and written communication

Is able to do presentations to end users and application support group ,
