We are looking for an engineer with a strong security background, with an emphasis on Azure Infrastructure and Cloud Security. As part of a dynamic team you will gain broad business knowledge of the company s activities globally, as well as understand how the complexity of IT supports the finance, transport (inland & ocean) and logistics business using SAP and Non-SAP technology. We are proud of our diversity and see it as a genuine source of strength for building high performing teamsShow More Key responsibilitiesThe Security Engineer will have responsibility for security technologies within the SAP Enablement Platform, with a key emphasis on the non-SAP . Develop Security design(s), including detailed low-level guidance on implementation, which aligns with the overall strategic and security architecture, includes understanding infrastructure security, and the business controls that secure the SAP Enablement Platform. Driving security improvement from design through delivery and into operations through good practices and representing the importance and business benefit of Cyber Security. Act as security evangelist and mentor to the business, SAP security and development teams. Embedding Maersk s Secure-by-Design and Secure Development Life Cycle principles into the SAP Enablement Platform. Provide build oversight and management support for the SAP project team to ensure infrastructure security considerations are carried forward throughout the implementation project Deliver security related projects as needed, potentially spanning the multiple technology platforms and functional areas, including facilitating coordination across multiple third-party partners. Work with the SAP Enablement Platform engineering teams to ensure the security and integrity of the Platform is maintained through the development and enforcement of controls for vulnerability scanning and patch management. Provide support for on-going controls and audit activities including SAP Security system monitoring. Works with the Platform team and external partners to develop appropriate security posture for the entire SAP landscape. Work with the Cyber Security organisation highlighting and informing risks to for inclusion on the Risk Register. Ability to apply security principles and good practice to manage security in Azure cloud in relation to infrastructure, networking and storage. Discuss and analyse requirements with business stakeholders, and creating developing the back log items with the broader SAP Security team. Work with multiple solution design options, and recommend the most appropriate solution considering business priorities, technical feasibility, return on investment and delivery timelines. Participate in work estimation, scope definition and delivery planning activities through an Agile DevOps model. Contribute to discussions on the technical roadmap to platform architecture team by helping to connect the dots between teams and the wider SAP Platform. Excellent communication skills to support stakeholder engagementsShow More We are looking forBachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or 5+ years relevant work experience Cloud security experience is required. Microsoft Azure security knowledge is a plus. Integration of security technologies into a SIEM, knowledge of Azure Sentinel is preferred. Good understanding of network security zoning principles and Zero Trust models Understanding of security controls, e.g. NIST security frameworks A good understanding of Operating System hardening through CIS Hardening benchmarks for Linux or Windows. An understanding of SAP S/4 would be advantageous Awareness of Database security principles with data protections for encryption and filtering Working Experience of other security mechanisms such as SAML / OAUTH or any other token based platform Identity management processes, and the roles of least privilege and privilege access management Understanding of Certificates, including PKI, would be advantageous Have a strong understanding of Compliance: GDPR, SOX, PCI and Segregation of Duties involved. You should have experience of implementing vulnerability management and remediating security issues as they are found. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills at both a technical and non-technical level.
