Job Responsibilities1. Hands on experience in Wellness Product, Nutraceutical Supplements and Food Fortification.2. 3-5 years of commercial experience in the formulation of dietary supplement and functional foods, preferably involving a variety of dosage and product forms, including Tea, Coffee, Capsules, health supplement drink, Wellness RTD, Powdered drink mixes, Nutrition bars and preferably involving formulations for both domestic and international markets.3. Responsible for bringing innovative new products with nutraceutical fortification from a wellness perspective.4. Responsible to drive the thinking on how daily consumption food items can be fortified with nutraceutical ingredients to solve for wellness concerns, while still being tasty and providing a shelf life that a packaged product would require.5. Drive the thinking on innovative food products for the brand , what products to go after, what to fortify them with nutraceutical and actives, how to achieve a high quality product.6. Responsible for all analytical testing required during product development, such as nutrient content, RDA value and contaminant analyses, micro testing and stability studies.7. Develop and review design prototypes, perform test and finalize product design to facilitate mass production.8. Lab and pilot scale trials and prototype generation9. Perform market research to understand market requirements, product trends and initiate innovative product development10. Analyse new components, materials, and technologies to evaluate functionalities for all new product development.11. Preparation of technical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and with the companys new product development process12. Good understanding of raw material (Tea, Coffee, Spices, Herbs, Flavour) specifications and creation of SOPs13. Coordinate with multidisciplinary product launch teams to facilitate product launch as per research findings and in appropriate market.14. Should be able to work closely with the marketing team for new product development15. Understanding of customer needs, analysis of customer requirement, converting customer needs16. Work closely with Quality, Flavour Houses & Vendors to explore innovative solutions to innovate and renovate the product matrix as per productivity initiative for business need.17. High level understanding of Packaging and labelling requirement with product claim in accordance to regulatory (Tea Board India, FSSAI, FDA)18. Technical support to cross functional department,
