Senior Design Analyst (Supply Chain)

Job Description

As a Design Senior Analyst, you will be required to understand and analyze existing processes to advise on improvements through process or product changes yielding higher productivity and customer experience in City Logistics (CL) operations with better process quality.What You ll DoIdentify / Evaluate opportunities for services / solutions that help improve the Speed, Cost, Reliability, Consistency in City Logistics of the supply chainDesign supply chain with a business view of 2-3 years which is scalable, modular and can be replicated across cities.Evaluate the End to End Supply chain processes to understand challenges and design scalable solutions - both infrastructure and process.Program manage design projects through the project life cycle (Ideation to Execution)Liaison with multiple design / product / tech / category teams and external stakeholders for operational alignment and executionSupport monitoring of business matrices to identify any deviations from design and provide solutions for said problem(s)Drive transformational process changes by designing and launching alternate delivery modelsWhat You ll NeedTranslates Business (category) needs into scalable design solutions.Understands process linkages across Supply Chain and their implications on Supply Chain and can design processes for scale for fulfilment of services.Leverage Operations Research and other decision sciences to design a scalable and cost-effective solutionUnderstands data deeply and leverages around Design choices. Can work in an ambiguous environment where data may not be available.Understands financial implications for the design choices and able to use that for making decisions.Work collaboratively with a variety of teams and capture their inputs into SC DesignForesight to prioritize and make trade-offs using domain and business expertise to help program make process.Align stakeholders to define scope, identify success criteria, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources, develop and manage schedules, manage change, manage risk and manage communication to ensure timely completion of key milestones and success criteria.3 to 6 years of experience in process design, operations excellence or operations or strategy consulting is a must.MBA in Operations or Supply Chain preferredAbout The TeamDesign team is responsible for designing solutions for CL asset (DC, MH, CL, Network, Packaging) in order to drive future capabilities for bringing in cost, speed and reliability efficiency. This team focuses on designing solutions for CL asset. The team engages in thinking futuristic, game-changing and out-of-the box solutions that may not have been tried and carry a measured risk.
