Job Description

Perform base engine and aftertreatment calibration (incl. DOC, DPF and SCR) as per BS 6.1 and 6.2 automotive emission regulations for heavy duty applications
Execute engine performance and emission development along with data analysis
Develop and execute test plan for selection of emission related hardwares like Turbocharger, Fuel Injectors, Piston Bowl, After treatment system etc.
Evaluate OBD monitoring strategies and perform calibration of different monitors
Handles multiple analytical tools / softwares like AVL CONCERTO, INCA, PUMA
Provide support in vehicle calibration
Analyse and determines Heavy duty commercial vehicle application duty cycles and its criticality
Define and execute calibration plan and DOE on engine dynamometer
Report making and presentations to communicate findings, draw conclusions and give recommendations on next steps
Stays aware of new and upcoming aftertreatment technologies and testing methods

Experience4-5 yearsIndustry PreferredAutomotive OEM, Engine Consultancy, FIE supplierQualificationsBE / B.TechGeneral Requirements

Engine combustion development.
Base engine calibration and aftertreatment calibration (especially SCR & DPF)
Hands on experience in INCA, Concerto, PUMA
Performance & emission development skills in diesel engines
Knowledge in emission norms (BS4, BS6.1, BS6.2, OBD1 and OBD2)
Knowledge in aftertreatment systems.
Possess excellent analytical skills, communication and presentation skills
