Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency. It is a joint venture between the Department of Promotion for Internal Trade Industry (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and State Governments. It hosts teams working with various Govt. initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNIi, and PMG.Creation of a Secretariat to support Empowered Committee for Animal Health (ECAH) to transform the animal husbandry sectorIn response to the challenge by Hon. Prime Minister to all the Ministries to simplify government regulations and enhancing the ease of doing business, under the guidance of the Principal Scientific Adviser, DAHD, in collaboration with CDSCO and ICAR is overhauling the entire regulatory approval process for veterinary products. With this, we envision animal vaccine sector to be a major sector for the country and for the world like Indias human vaccine industry.We also need a robust disease control program and building better data analytic platforms for the sector, with regular oversight and input from the necessary expert input.To achieve these two goals, an empowered committee under the Chairmanship of PSA and Vice Chairmanship of Secretary, DAHD has been created. This is called Empowered Committee for Animal Health (ECAH) and includes membership of allied key Ministries as well as independent experts. ECAH will meet periodically in its full capacity to oversee the progress and set priorities. A sub-committee of the ECAH will meet more frequently to review the regulatory submissions for disposition by DAHD.A full-fledged secretariat to support ECAH and key health related programs that will be taken up under the guidance of ECAH. This secretariat is slated to have people possessing key attributes such as being able to incorporate input from the key stakeholders, ability to get up to speed on new topics, and to move things forward in a rapid manner.Invest India invites passionate and committed individuals to join hands and make a difference.Key Responsibilities :- In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders from the Animal Husbandry ecosystem to drive high impact and sustainable results through a mix of initiatives. The key responsibilities may include the following :- Ensuring regular functioning of ECAH, including regular meetings, creation of agenda and follow up of the priorities identified- Preparing for the materials for regulatory applications of animal vaccines that will be coming in regularly and ensuring timely disposition of these applications by the sub-committee of the ECAH that needs to meet frequently- From time to time, sub-committees will be created to develop a specific area and ECAH will be expected to follow up on progress of the initiatives- Providing the bridging functions between DAHDs flagship health programs and any expert/analytic input that may come out of ECAH to better inform these health programs- Overall, act as a resource group to the ECAH committee as needed- Coordinate effectively with all stakeholders within and outside the organization to improve efficiency- Prepare research documents/ pitch decks on areas of interest to various Stakeholders in this sector- Creating presentations, documents, and reports to clearly showcase work and results to executive management- Responsible for designing and delivering projects on strict timelines with limited guidance- Proactive in developing relationships and strategies to accomplish objectives and accountability in delivering results- Streamline engagements with industry partners and ensure timely communication based on best practices- Any other responsibility that may be assigned related to this workQualifications :- Knowledge of the animal husbandry sector/ academic background in veterinary science is a plus (but not required)- Minimum of 5 years of work experience after the post graduate degree (Masters) is a plus.- Bachelors degree in the STEM, commerce / finance, design, or the humanities or graduate qualification in or related to the fields of business administration, engineering, public policy, sustainability, human development is preferable but not mandatory- Strong academic track record- Masters degree (MBA or MS or equivalent) is preferable however not mandatory- High degree of responsibility, with demonstrated supporting experience; capable of formulating and executing sector strategy with a high measure of initiative- Excellent client facing and communication skills- Must understand sense of urgency and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills- Strong management skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently- Attention to detail and end-to-end ownership- Advanced presentation and writing skills preferred,
