Job Description

As Solution Engineer Associate, you will The Solution Engineer provides customers with professional, timely, accurate and effective proposals to provide SITA Communication services. The Solution Engineer drives organic growth and simple new opportunities by leveraging the knowledge of information technologies. You will be accountable for The Solution Engineer is responsible for triggering all actions required to implement successfully the contracted solutions. The business goals are to generate new business revenue on existing contracts leveraging standard products and solutions from the SITA Communication Services portfolio. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be a part of the Delivery and Lifecycle Com and DataX responsible for Support the technical qualification of customer s communication needs through knowledge of current, new or evolving technologies, and SITA CIS solution portfolio Design and co-ordinate the development of standardized and or proven business solutions Support the Solution Designers / Solution Architects on large customer opportunities by gathering access circuits quotations Liaise with various internal stakeholders, such as Pricing, Customer Service, and Project Management, to build simple customer proposals Interact with colleagues to gain and share ideas on opportunitiesThe world is changing. Are you ready to join us What you will do Be the interface to customers on simple technical matters such as organic growth orders and simple opportunities. Support the technical qualification of customer s communication needs through knowledge of current, new or evolving technologies, and SITA CIS solution portfolio Design and co-ordinate the development of standardized and or proven business solutions Support the Solution Designers / Solution Architects on large customer opportunities by gathering access circuits quotations Liaise with various internal stakeholders, such as Pricing, Customer Service, and Project Management, to build simple customer proposals Interact with colleagues to gain and share ideas on opportunities Create, maintain, and update an opportunity in the SITA Sales tool (Salesforce.com) Update an opportunity in the SITA Sales tool (Salesforce.com) is created by the Account Manager Validate the quality of the input data from the customer for processing successfully the orders Produce the list of orderable components (Bill of Material) and the low-level design describing, in meaningful details for implementation, the contracted customer solution Check completeness of Technical Design Documents and Configure Low-Level Design in Tools Check & Validate Costs Components Completeness & Apply Customer Pricing. Perform Quotes refresh for costs optimization and Control pro-actively validity of quotes. Own the technical sections of the required Service Request Forms and submit them to the Project manager and/or Customer Service Manager, to get the orders validated at first submission. Provide Customers local contacts and sites details Order Creation in SITA & Vendor Tools and Submit Order for delivery. Manage corrective actions in case of rejection Perform Alternative Quotes in case of Scope of work changes during delivery Support the Project manager and/or Customer Service manager for the coordination of the final delivery/migration Define and ensure that acceptance tests are carried out successfully Effective attendance to service activation/migration conference calls if required by the Project manager and/or Customer Service Manager|/| Compare assets with information in Billing and other systems Identify Tools Data Discrepancies with Technical Inventory & Correct Tools Data Discrepancies upon Solution Designers guidance., Experience on Cisco Switches family knowledge: Cat2900 series, Cat3550/3650 series, Cat3750, Cat4500, Cat6500 series, Nexus switches, Wireless LAN. Area of exposer - MPLS, IPVPN (CISCO technologies), Network Boost, Reverbed, Voice - IP Telephony & security. Knowledge on: TCP/IP, Frame Relay, ATM, MEA, IEL, routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP4, RIPV2, MPLS, MPLS VPN, VoIP, ISDN DDR, Dial Solutions (PPP/L2F), Switching, DSL, IPSEC, GRE, Tunneling. Change management/ Project Management knowledge (ITIL knowledge is a plus) Be autonomous and agile in changing environments, with a sense of initiative and proactivity.
