Job Description

Responsible for engine development program by liaison with external design house by requirement analysis, finalizing specifications, designing, prototype development, testing activities till industrialization with multi location CFT.
Knowledge of Engine layout / Peripherals like Intake, Exhaust, cooling system, CVT/ Gear transmission and integration on motorcycle/ scooter.
Design calculation/ CAE/CFD for engine systems, components, thermodynamics, gear design, gas dynamics.
Thorough knowledge on global regulations, Euro V and Euro V+ , ASEAN region emission requirement.
Know-how on 3D and 2D drawings of all engine systems, assembly, sub assembly and components including GDNT, materials, process
Good understanding and hands on experience of preparing DFMEA of engine systems and components.
Know-how/ hands on experience of engine development activities like DVP preparation, performance / durability testing, trouble shooting and diagnosis and providing countermeasures
Good understanding of 2W vehicle systems, knowledge of assembly process, gaps and clearances, serviceability aspects, BOM, customer usage pattern
Knowledge of various materials used in 2W, cost trends, design to target cost/weight/ time
Hands on experience on UG/CATIA, understanding of New Product Development System, design release process, Engineering Change management etc.
Ability to drive the team and influence for WIN-WIN decisions, ability to work with cross-cultural international teams
Preparation and tracking of project scope, budget, material cost, timeline and prepare Dashboard for Management reviews
Effective on Presentation and communication skill
