Job Description

    About the jobAccounts Payable ManagerLocation : BangaloreYears of Experience : 5-7 yearsCA MustPeople coming from service industry.We are looking for self-motivated, energetic, and experienced Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant with 5-to-8-years of experience to join us as Transactions Controller. The incumbent should have relevant experience in managing Accounts Payable and overseeing General Ledger Functions in a profit center centric environment, with working knowledge of SAP (preferable), GST, TDS, and other relevant statutory laws. The incumbents key Responsibility areas will include:
      • Overseeing Monthly books close of the firm (multiple legal entities).
      • Review of General Ledger and ensuring all costs are appropriately accounted to ensure accuracy of monthly MIS reports.
      • Oversight of Accounts Payable team and function with responsibility to identify process gaps, bring in process efficiency and develop a robust MIS for the same.
      • Develop and execute a documented process to ensure newly acquired subsidiaries are properly integrated into finance framework.
      • Ensure systems and processes are evaluated periodically to avoid any tax leakages and ensure compliance with GST and other relevant statutory requirements.
      • Preparation of SOPs for various processes within the domain.
      • Groom a high performing team of 6 to 8 resources and develop succession and career planning within the team.
      • Evaluate existing processes & systems and make recommendations for automation where possible.
      • Custodian to implement internal controls and responsible to carry out statutory and internal audit in assigned areas.
      • Be an active part of the IndAS implementation team.
      • Oversight of basic Treasury functions and ensuring banking relationships are strongly held to ensure seamless transaction processing.
    Revenue Recognition Assistant ManagerLocation : BangaloreYears of Experience : 2-5 yearsCA MustPeople coming from service industry.We are looking for an energetic and experienced qualified chartered accountants with 2-to-5-yearexperience to join our finance team. As part of our team, the incumbent should possessexperience in Revenue Recognition, Accounts Payable and General Ledger Functions, withworking knowledge of SAP (preferable), GST, TDS and relevant statutory laws. The incumbentskey Responsibility areas will include.Invoicing and Revenue Recognition in a project centric environment post checking relevantcontracts, terms, GST and other norms and internal controls applicable.Accounts Payable management within SLAs stipulated and accounting for the same byproject.Reconciliation of project accounts for reimbursable spends and calculation of deferredrevenue and accruals.Manage all revenue recognition queries for Audit along with the teamGenerating financial reports and statements that detail the status of projects and accountsreceivable.Ensure healthy balance sheet relating to Revenue, AR and advances with action itemstracked for closure.Ensure collections received are fully applied to AR based on information provided bybusiness teams and dates of collection are maintained as per policy.Desired Skills and ExperienceRevenue Recognition,Accounts Payable
