Job Description

The Vice President will ensure the satisfactory management of the FSP Biometrics team in India in a manner consistent with Corporate and Department strategy and goals. The Vice President will manage FSP Biometrics staff across all India office locations, including decentralized team members, and is responsible for ensuring adequate number and competency of staff to meet the business needs of FSP.The Vice President will promote and participate in the development and coordination of strategic FSP initiatives, in addition to leading and/or participating in global strategic, technical and operational initiatives to help drive the strategic vision for FSP locally, regionally, and overall. The Vice President will develop future plans and goals for FSP to continually enhance productivity and quality and actively contribute to the strategic decision-making process and impetus to achieve the corporate goals as part of the worldwide FSP management team.The Vice President will actively seek and follow through on FSP sales opportunities through internal and external leads. In addition, the Vice President will provide support to Business Development and participate in customer presentations to provide general and/or customer specific overviews of Parexel FSP capabilities. He/she will serve as a technical resource for proposal preparation, resource planning and strategic sales presentations. Key Accountabilities:Departmental Leadership Ensure that the region has a well-organized infrastructure, adequate resources, and team training with a focus on retention to develop and retain high quality talent. Act as a senior functional escalation point for customers and within Parexel for account specific matters requiring escalation to senior management. Executive Biometrics oversight for customer engagement and risk assessment Support of FSP program leads towards implementation of strategies for the maintenance and growth of each partnership account to ensure that deliverables are of high-quality. Proactively lead, manage, and successfully deliver key FSP initiatives Team Leadership Meet with full team on a regular basis with comprehensive communication and guidance Independently execute the full range of duties relevant to the leadership, management, and development of team members to ensure their performance meets or exceeds both the business and their own personal goals/objectives Recruiting, retaining and developing a skilled, experienced, and motivated team Monitor and drive an agreed level of productivity, billability, and staff turnover Awareness around team performance and impacts to accounts across regions Promptly deliver positive and constructive feedback to management teams and lead formal staff review processes e.g. performance and salary reviews to corporate standards and timescalesStaff hiring and development Coordinate recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training initiatives globallyProductivity Oversee staff and manager utilization and other productivity measurements to ensure productivity targets are maintained and improved. Implements improvements as necessary.Deliverable Quality Continually assess quality of FSP deliverables as compared to client expectations, GCPs, Parexel SOPs, Client SOPs if used and contracts. Identify areas for follow-up and/or training and ensure implementation by Line ManagementInitiatives & Business Development Initiate, lead and/or participate in global strategic, technical and operational initiatives to help drive the strategic vision for FSP locally, regionally, and overall Contribute to bid pursuit activities (including requests for information, proposals, and bid defense meetings) as needed by supporting the bid pursuit team and/or attending bid pursuit opportunities, including new partnership opportunities.QualificationsThe Vice President, Biometrics India position at Parexel requires a diverse skill set across three main categories: Leadership, Personnel Management, and Business Operations.Leadership Skills: Excellent ability to build and lead a cohesive team across multiple office locations and/or in a virtual work environment.
