Job Description

You will report to Site Supply Chain Head. You have to intract will below person/functions ;

  • Production
  • Internal Logistics team
  • Production Logistics Manager
  • Material Planners
  • Production EPUs
  • Testing EPUs
EXTERNALInteraction with vendors and Support team at BengaluruPurpose of the JobResponsible for Warehouse Opeartions.Responsible for inbound operations, picking, inventory accuracy.Responsible for workload & manpower planning.ResponsibilitiesCustodian of EHS roll out for the warehouse operations.Report out and take corrective actions for any safety deviations.Regular safety walks and waste walks (to chase waste away from the unit)Accountable for Material Handling Equipment - Uptime report, machinery & equipment planning such as storage saturation levels, trollies and returnable pallets.Plan for Capex based on the warehouse saturation levels, constant focus on the maintenance of trollies and pallets.Communicate to Procurement Manager and caution on excess inventory to mitigate future occurrences.Lead a team of Inbound, Picking and Inventory EPUs.Monitor SAP WMS system for metrics adherence.Dock to stockConduct tool box meetings to bring in the awareness of SQCD metrics of the business unit.Conduct Kaizen workshops to generate cotinuous improvement ideas.Lead or participate in key projects driven for business unit betterment.Daily, Weekly, Monthly MIS report out to leadership teams.Apsys - take the team to the level of 3.5Quality focus - Support management in ISO / IRIS roll out.Key Performance Indicators1 Dock to Stock2 Inventory Accuracy for count and value3 5S at the Warehouse4 999 Location Nil5 Warehouse saturationQualifications & Skills:EDUCATION B.Tech/B.E. from any reputed university with minimum experience of 8+ yearsTechnical Knowledge / ExperienceWarehouse Operations KnowledgeSAP - WMSBasic product knowledgeRolling stock manufacturing processAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsManagement Reporting.Data AnalysisBehavioral CompetencyTeam player - to support / lead Cross Functional Team environment.Leader as teacher, the person should continuously coach and mentor the reporting team.Confident and ability to articulate his thoughts.Leader with passion for the job and exhibits compassion towards the team members.Conflict resolution capability both with in and external teams.Leader with Vision, Execution and Legacy.We believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce is a lever to running a sustainable and successful business.
