Job SummaryAs a furniture production manager, youll be involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. Youll make sure goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right level of quality.Responsibilities and DutiesCandidate must be from furniture industry with experience of 10-12 yearsShould have thorough knowledge of each division of Furniture Manufacturing Unit ie Carpentry, painting and polishing line, fabrication, upholstery etc.Should have thorough knowledge of paint booth and furniture finishesOversee the production process, drawing up a production scheduleEnsure that the production is cost effectiveDecide what resources are requiredSet the quality standardsMonitor the production processes and adjust schedules as neededMonitor product standards and implement quality control programmersEnsure that health and safety guidelines are followedSupervise material received in factory and delivery schedulesReview worker performanceSupervise factory cleaning
