Greeting for the Day!We are looking for Project Manager IT position, details are below.Location- GurgaonExperience- min 7 yearsSalary Budget- p to 18 lacDesignation: Project Manager ITLocation: DelhiThe role will be responsible for managing Vendors, their contracts and governance process across Vendors. In addition to this also work with technology providers and respective business units to manage implementation of products and strategic initiatives whilst continuously improving and maintaining project governance. The role will require specialized management consulting expertise to support the business and build trust and loyalty between the stake holders and the business division.This role will ensure alignment to corporate objectives by reviewing the project portfolio, timelines, and benefits by structured engagements from opportunity identification through to successful completion.
• Work closely with business departments, internal team of Project Managers and external Consultants to ensure effective coordination and transparency across the Organization including reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis on progress of Key Strategic Projects
• Provide Project Management support, including implementation of Project Management Methodology (Waterfall/Agile, PM processes and procedures, etc.), performance metrics and communications to allow for successful, on-time project plan execution
• Establish processes to support the engagements and define the delivery aligned to the long-term strategy, and adhere to reporting procedures
• Ensure all governance processes are implemented and followed by the business while continuously improving the governance framework to ensure fit-for-purpose
• Provide innovative solutions to complex business problems and optimize IT internal processes
• Coordinate with technical teams and provide business support as well as technical support, if required
• Track performance of the Project Portfolio (weekly and monthly), to report on the effectiveness of the initiatives against the Corporate objectives and expected benefits
• Align the Project Portfolio to ensure focus on the strategic business plan and recommend prioritization to support the long-term strategy and goals
• Escalate concerns, provide and elicit information and give advice of a specialist nature
• Build strong relationships with team members and colleagues from different teams and departments as well as external business partners.
• Drive governances with Vendors to review SLA and Health checks, maintaining views of Vendor contract end date, check on applications going out of scope, maintaining application licenses
• Respond resourcefully and shows nimbleness when faced with new challenges and demands. Effectively manage the pressures and complexities of various situations. Move forward positively and productively under conditions of change or uncertainty
Candidates Profile:
• The candidate must be a Graduate in related field with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of IT experience. Masters Degree will be an advantage
• Candidates with PMP or PRINCE2 Certification will be preferred
• Prior experience in Project Management and / or Project Delivery leadership with systems implementation experience will be preferred
• The candidate should possess excellent client relationship skills, analytical skills, coordination skills, and strong organizational and communication skills
• Prior experience in executing web and mobile projects (Java, .Net, iOS, Android etc.) will be preferred
• Expertise in one or more key practice areas such as: strategic/business planning and performance measurement, process management (including Quality Management and Six Sigma) will be preferred
