Position - Manager/Senior ManagerJob Role - Category ManagementLocation - 1mg HQ, GurgaonKey responsibilities:- Lead the category function acting as the business owner for overall growth of the assigned category- Define strategic growth plan for the category along with end-to-end management of the same; work with cross- functional teams to drive the means to growth- Go deep into understanding what customer wants, how that can be manifested on B2C platform, and drive complete ownership of delivering results. This will include working with product, technology, marketing and fulfilment teams.- Drive supply initiatives in terms of supply acquisition, retention, sales and monetisation, co- ordinating with relevant stakeholders across regional & city levels- Coordinate with planning and procurement teams to drive selection and in-stock targets- Manage the setup of effective pricing through promotions and offers, ensuring bottom-line focus- Aggressively drive market leadership for the assigned categoriesThe candidate should have:- 4-7 years of work experience in sales, merchandising or category management- Hunger to drive growth with hands-on approach; proven experience in driving sales with extensive supplier/customer interface will be a big plus- Good to have prior experience of scaling business at an internet company/start-up- Excellent analytical skills,
