Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for gathering requirements and directing the activities of the rest of the design team.
  • Understand Network Planning software architecture and establish best coding practices, test driven development and continuous integration methodologies.
  • Evolve Network Planning Software towards Micro-Services based architecture keeping Real Time Planning as an objective.
  • Continuous review and refactor of existing code for better performance and development velocity improvement
  • Translate system-level software architecture requirements into detailed implementable design stories
  • Assist in the requirements analysis and high-level design of software features. Provide technical guidance throughout the development process.
  • Analysis, software design and implementation to validate and optimize DWDM, SONET/SDH, OTN based networks, which are designed based on a variety of parameters
  • Apply design principles to work in a Web based/Cloud based and microservice-based development environment and keeping in mind performance and memory constraints.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Owner, Product Line Manager (PLM) and Verification.
  • Complete assigned development tasks including unit testing and documenting work
  • Troubleshooting and debugging of reported issues
  • Keep yourself abreast with latest technology trends
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring the development team.

ExperienceCandidate should have 10+ years of overall experience and should have architected from the very start and deployed successfully at least couple of solutions in Cloud based environmentIn addition to guiding development teams, you will be responsible for conducting research on existing systems and devising solutions that work within those systems. They may also meet directly with clients to demonstrate solutions, answer questions regarding software capabilities and requirements, and work to resolve issues that arise during the development cycle.
  • Strong Software Engineering skills including object-oriented analysis and design, End-to-end software development (requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support) - Critical
  • Experience with real-time software, and large, multi-processor, highly-concurrent systems.
  • Decent Knowledge of Design Patterns, Data Structures and exposure to Performance Improvement.
  • Deep understanding of software development processes and tools
  • Extensive experience with all aspects of software project management.
  • LanguagesDynamic Languages Python Critical
  • React.js, Ember.js - Critical
  • Knowledge of Dockers, Linux, JS - Critical
  • C#.Net, OOPS - Critical
