Assistant Manager, Investment ModelingWhat this job involves:You will be part of the Investment modeling team that sits within the business line VAST. You will be reporting directly to the team head; supporting the business in the form of lease abstraction, financial modeling, Argus modeling. Passion for real estateDo you live and breathe real estate financial modeling After understanding your prospects real estate needs, you will take the lead in arranging their viewing schedules, analysing the pros and cons of respective options, advising them on the best valuation strategies and seeing those strategies through to ensure maximum results. Working closely with our other brokers and analysts from various global offices, you will put together lease abstracts and financial models for your prospective clients. Team workWorking with our leadership and business line heads to support the development of new business opportunities and manage the business development. On top of this, you will also be working with management to help improve our processes.Delivering Excellent Service You will attend routine meeting with the client together with the team head. To apply you need to be:Roles & ResposibilitesBachelor s Degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related disciplines with excellent academic credentials or an equivalent combination of education and experience6 years of work experience in real estate industry with proficiency in reviewing real estate documents (leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc) and abstracting relevant deal points for financial analysisYou will have opportunities to learn and develop new skills in valuation techniques through the use of Argus Enterprise, excel cashflow models, data management systems and client servicesProficient in in use of databases and Argus Certification (with 2 years of working Argus knowledge)Outstanding computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is requiredStrong quantitative orientation, with knowledge or ability to learn principles necessary in real estate underwriting, including Discounted Cash Flow, IRR, NPV, Time Value of Money, Return on Equity, Debt Returns, etc.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsA desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environmentSelf-motivating individual who is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team under deadlines.QualificationsYou will have a Degree / Diploma or relevant educational background in Real Estate, Business Administration or Accounting & Finance with min 6 years of working experience.You are well verse in Argus Enterprise, excel and real estate financial modeling, and have good communication and writing skill.Member of RICSProven red book valuation experience.Great communication, interpersonal, organizational & time management skills to meet the deadlines and provide great service to our clients.Ability to take on challenging valuations and willing to work as a team player in diverse teams.An eye for detail to be comfortable with thorough report writing and excel.Fluency in spoken and written English essentialWhat we can do for you:At JLL, our purpose is to shape the future of real estate for a better world.We make sure that you become the best version of yourself by helping you realise your full potential in an entrepreneurial and inclusive work environment.
