Job Description

The Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Reporting team provides reporting solutions to multiple Finance teams with the focus on standardization, automation and accuracy. Our team is responsible for ensuring that HFM meets the reporting requirements as dictated by management and our regulators, such as IFRS and Solvency II reporting. The focus is to provide solutions for both, current and future reporting requirements, such as IFRS17. This involves creating and modifying the reports and process documentation, as well as, performing in-depth analysis on dimensionality, hierarchies, metadata and HFM Rules as we strive for fully automated solutions. The Reporting team also assists with creating solutions that enable data upload into the AXA corporate Magnitude Consolidations systems. We are looking for a hands-on Assistant manager, with the ability to do detailed work on existing reporting requirements, as well as come up with new streamlined and improved solutions.What will your essential responsibilities include Assistance with day-to-day support of existing business delivery requirements, in order to ensure timely task delivery. o Update existing templates, which facilitate quarterly reporting submissions to AXA Group. o Build reconciliations for variance reviews to stakeholders, including complex queries related to HFM and Magnitude. Assistance with effort to standardize, automate and improve efficiency of existing processes, through working with Finance & IT teams o Engage in discussion with internal stakeholders, to understand requirements and potential areas of improvement. o Generate ideas for streamlining of existing processes and create efficient long-term solutions. Assist with ongoing projects to design efficient reporting solutions, using insights gained by analyzing requirements, existing systems and data flows. o Architecture solutions to input of data into the Magnitude consolidation system. Develop and enhance controls and reconciliations between source and target systems. o Solutions for IFRS reporting, regulatory Solvency II reporting in HFM, upcoming IFRS17 projects. o Maintenance of appropriate supporting documents pertaining to processes, systems and controls. o Support with various Integrations & User Acceptance Testing., *We re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Require Graduates/Post Graduates with 4+ years of Post-qualification relevant experience in Financial Close & Reporting environment. Ability to independently analyze financial data, draw conclusions and develop recommendations Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Strong communication skills; both verbal and written including excellent documentation skills Keen attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Organized, methodical, able to deal effectively with multiple priorities. Team Player having passion for results and ability to work independently in fast paced multi-cultural environment Understanding of accounting principles of IFRS including, including Group consolidation and intercompany reporting Good to have Proven experience of working with the finance function of an international organization. Experience with preparing IFRS consolidated financial statements is highly desirable. Previous experience in the Insurance industry including understanding of an insurance company BS and P&L is highly beneficial Strong knowledge of HFM, including Smartview reporting is highly desirable. Experience with the Magnitude Consolidation tool is highly desirable
