Job Description

    Duties & Responsibilities1)Meet or exceed business plan targets including but not limited to sales VC (margin) targets. Actively engage in cross sell opportunities and specifically develop and maintain new/existing business for the US, Europe, Intra-Asia, and other trade lanes.2) Focus on high revenue growth areas and satisfying/fulfilling customer needs.3) Work towards building a strong pipeline and also explore and convert bookings from satellite locationsLudhiana/jaipur/jodhpur/Kanpur. 4) Work towards ensuring timely collections in line with the official credit policyRequired experience& skillsa) Sales PipelineConduct basic marketplace intelligence and research along with the existing team to map business potential of existing customers as well as identify new customers.Participate in identifying corporate sales planning and strategies Identify and enlarge Targeted Customer Base.To increase the profitability of the Individual clients through cross selling and deep selling of the organizations product offering across freight forwarding/ transport, contract logistics and customs clearance. Respond to RFQs, tenders, RFIs, etc.Ensuring new customer accounts are acquired by self consistently in line with the organizations requirement.b). Relationship ManagementDevelop strong customer relationships through regular visits or timely response to their queries.Keep them updated on the status of their freight and inform any anticipated delays in advance.Deal with and overcome objections raised by customers and ensure solutions are in sync with customer expectations.Ensure service quality feedback on a monthly basis and implement corrective actions to ensure customer stickiness/ retention.Develop pricing and business models based on customer needs.c) CollectionsResponsible for accounts receivable collections and bad debts resolution.Keep a close eye on the customer credit cycle and credit worthiness and ensure accurate details are presented in the Credit Application at all times.d) Sales MIS & Client ServicingCollating all client information, sales meets and other vital information onto the sales CRM.Conducting monthly client review meetings and accordingly ensure upgrade or downgrade of service levels depending on business volumes, product profitability and payment history.Who we are lookingfor :Skills Sets:- Self Managed and Independent- Result Oriented- Positive Attitude- Goal oriented- Initiative and self-motivated- People-to-people skills Desired Competencies (Typical):- Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office- Language skills related to the geographic area of responsibilityDesired Competencies (nice to have):- Perseverance and ability to handle difficult customers- Resourcefulness, maturity and high level of initiative
