Job Description

*What will your essential responsibilities include

  • Support fulfilment of Lloyd s Capital Modelling requirements, in particular annual SCR assessment and reassessment process through
    • Ensuring governance processes are appropriately followed and data quality standards are met
    • Ensuring parameterisation processes are completed in time for model use and in line with specified standards
    • Reviewing model code and adjust where necessary
    • Performance of testing on model outputs to ensure appropriateness of model calibration
    • Reviewing model inputs and outputs and justify their appropriateness for the entity s exposure
    • Production and maintenance of Model documentation to a sufficient standard to meet regulatory and professional demands in respect of any activity carried out
  • Support development of new capital model for Lloyd s, including model specification and build
  • Support the assessment of capital for XL Catlin UK, developing and applying methodologies to extract and adjust relevant distributions from the AXA XL Divisional model
  • Respond to queries or ad hoc investigations concerning the capital or underlying risk position of the UK entities
, *Were looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
  • Qualified actuary with experience working for an Insurance company (preferably London Market)
  • Highly numerate and analytical with very good academic record
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of capital modelling concepts
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills preferably with experience of VBA
  • Strong Remetrica or Igloo skills
