Job Description

  • Required to work on Architecture and Design of the BI repoting needs. The ideal candidate should have good analytical skills amd experience on Architecture and design, Technical Architecture, Design patterns, Data migration, data integration and System integrations.
  • Should be able to demonstrate leadership quality with an ability to work independently and mentor / coach management and junior team members.

As a Senior Data Architect, you will be expected to define the strategy for our Enterprise BI reporting across the various business units, including:

  • Analyzing structural requirements for Data Virtualisation
  • Developing database solutions
  • Analyzing structural requirements for new reporting and data sources
  • Analyzing structural requirements for BI Reporting / Data Visualisation
  • Liason with Management on BI requirement and needs
about you

  • Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Working experience on Technical Architecture, Software Architecture and Software Design
  • Advanced knowledge of data mining and data modeling tools, especially Erwin, Enterprise Architect, Visio, Oracle SQL Data Modeler, etc
  • Extensive experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data warehouse modeling (3NFs, DataVault 2.0) and dimensional modeling for business intelligence
  • Should have experience on Migration of technology as well as infrastrucre. Must have experience on Optimization, Performance tuning and implementing Application / Infrastructure Security
  • Hands on knowledge with at least one key ETL tool (Informatica Power Center, SSIS, SAP BW/HANA, Oracle Data Integrator, Talend, etc.), and ETL best practices
  • Knowledge/experience on BigData technologies and NoSQL would be plus
  • Good knowledge on Linux and Windows platforms
  • Able to work independently and within a virtual team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to identify problems and work to resolution as required.
  • Ability to work across different cultures and business environments
  • Excellent communication skills--Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users in multiple time zones
  • Good team player
  • A wide degree of creativity and lateral thinking is expected

  • 15 years of experience as Data Architect with BI Reporting concepts
  • Expert in Data Virtualisation, working on desiging of virtual and physical modelling. Converseant with Data mining, integration and Big data concepts
  • Expert in Microsoft SQL server and other most common back end Microsoft technologies, including SSIS, SSRS , SSAS and Database Administration
  • Strong data analysis experience using various tools and techniques
  • Data conversion, security, tuning, Physical server maintenance, Cloud Server Migrations and Maintainance
  • Experience working on Enterprise Dataware houses
  • Experience working on BI reporting tools like PowerBI, Qliksense, QLikview, SSRS and Tableau
  • Telecom domain knowledge/network fundamentals and financial background is a plus
