Job Description

Data Transformation Analyst ISummary: The Parts Content team is a part of the Engineering & Product Design Team of IHS Markit and is responsible for creating electronics component database by data research & analysis for global customers. Candidate will be responsible for one or more aspects of researching and analysing critical components information to make a strong high level database.Specific Job Duties:

  • Analysis of electronic component datasheets.
  • Research manufacturer websites to source required data.
  • Input parametric data, from a manufacturer specification document, into a database.
  • Following Work Instructions and independence in working on assigned tasks and on ability to deliver quality work on time.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of accuracy and acceptable level of input per day.
  • Perform Data sheet/Specs analysis and verification of parametric data records.
Required Education:
  • Bachelors or equivalent in Electronics and Communication, B.Tech or Diploma in related field.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of directly related experience required.
  • The ideal candidate would have an electronics and communication sector related knowledge or experience
  • Data research experience desirable.
  • Ability and willingness to learn & grow.
Other skills:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer MS-Office applications knowledge must.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Able to work in team.
