Job Description

    The delivery of accurate and insightful business intelligence is strategically important to make BT a data driven organization.This role ensures that business requirements are turned into appropriate data models that are visualised correctly.Youll have the following responsibilities
    • Work as part of an agile development team within BT s Digital division.
    • Analyse multiple data sources to create and enhance data models in Qlik Sense.
    • Design, develop and maintain Qlik Sense applications that provide understanding of business performance and actionable insight.
    • Work with stakeholders to interpret KPIs and the underlying business data.
    • Share knowledge with other members of the team on technical best practices.
    • Raise risks, track issues, and report progress of your work in a clear and concise way.
    Youll have the following skills & experienceKey skills identified as:
    • 2 years experience of producing data visualisations using Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools. (Qlik Sense preferred)
    • 12 months experience of data modelling involving multiple data sources.
    • 12 months experience of using SQL.
    • Able to interact and communicate complex ideas effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Able to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team, but also to act independently in progressing work.
    • Being pro-active in progressing work, breaking down barriers and removing blockers.
    Other skills beneficial for the role are:
    • Understanding of dimensional data modelling.
    • Experience of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
    • Anticipating the needs of stakeholders in line with business requirements.
    • Knowledge and experience of using Agile.
