Job description - Equity Research Associate - Support Equity Research Analyst of a global investment bank in carrying out research on a portfolio of companies- Track news, events, and results of the companies under coverage- Track and monitor regulatory trends impacting the industry- Build and maintain databases tracking key macroeconomic indicators/industry KPIs- Work on Financial Models update historical numbers, build projections, and carry out valuation- Listen to and summarize investment conference calls- Assist the Lead Analyst in preparation of company profiles, newsletters, flash notes, earning notes, initiating coverage reports, etc.- Develop roadshow presentations- Handle ad-hoc research requests as per client requirementsSkill Set Required:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong understanding of accounting concepts and ability to conduct financial analysis- Understanding of valuation methodologies- Good financial writing skills (beyond factual reporting, such as company description)- Well versed in building financial models with forecasting- Ability to build client relations- Ability to work independently Knowledge of database tools, including Bloomberg, Reuters, and other financial data systems- Knowledge of VBA, Excel Macros will be an added advantageEducation and experience: - MBA / PGDM (Finance) / CA; CFA (US) would be an added advantage- 2-9 Years of sell side ER experience,
