Industry - Logistics / SCM / Freight / ShippingCategory - Finance Skills - US GAAP AccountingJob Type - Permanent Description:- Preparation of standalone financial statements under USGAAP & IFRS along with proper disclosures for group entities in various geographies across the globe.- Carry out the impact assessment analysis for transition from IFRS to USGAAP and summarize the accounting adjustments required across the group entities.Client Details : Our client is a global company which specializes in the automation space.- Consolidation of Group Financial statement as per USGAAP / IFRS. Conversion of standalone financials in local GAAP into USGAAP/ IFRS, analyzing consolidation adjustments, elimination and ensuring proper disclosures.- Monitoring the contracts with customers and ensuring that all items of revenue is recognized in the respective period in compliance to IFRS 15/ASC 606 (US GAAP)- Responsible for timely closure of group statutory audit- liaise with statutory auditors to discuss open audit issues and ensure timely closure thereof- Finance SPOC for resolution of all finance related issues, provide required guidance and enable business on process implementation / transactions- Help in establishing controls around inventory & fixed assets- Ensuring compliance to internal controls around financial reporting (ICFR)- Responsible for closure of month-end activities as per agreed timelines along with required schedules- Identify avenues for process improvements and lead such projects for implementation of such improvements.Profile: - Qualified Chartered Accountant with 6-10 years of post-qualification experience with articleship / experience in Big4- Proficient in USGAAPGood knowledge of IFRS would be preferred- Hands-on experience in consolidation of subsidiaries in various geographies through GAAP conversion- Candidates from software industry operating on a SAAS model shall be preferred- Sound financial concepts, knowledge of accounting principles and clarity on consolidation techniques.- Strong Microsoft Excel alongside good IT skills particularly Outlook, Word & PowerPoint- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Working Knowledge of ERP / SAP is desirableJob Offer : - Great opportunity to work in a world class organisation- An excellent opportunity to be a part of an exciting teamPage Group India is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
