It may not be for every role, and, as part of the recruitment process, you ll have the chance to discuss smart working and how it might work for the job you are applying for.About this roleExperienced Project Management Resource, responsible for planning and managing the delivery of complex and/or multiplestandard project(s) in line with scope, cost, time and quality throughout the life cycle of a contract.The role has a high level of direct engagement and interaction with stakeholders and customers with an impact on Customer outcomes and experience. As part of a professional community of Project and Programme Managers the role is expected to have a profound knowledge of project management methods / tools and conform with governance / standards set out by the BT methodology or specific contract PMO.Youll have the following responsibilitiesResponsible for planning and end-to-end delivery ofGlobal s customers, complex and/or multi standardcontract deliveries in line with scope, cost, time andquality throughout the life cycle WinBbusiness / T&T / In-Life.Build and own client and stakeholder relationships at alllevels (Customer, Service Transition, Customer Success,Supplier and Delivery Partners, Market Unit to name afew)Responsible for matrix management of multi-disciplinedresources or teams that are assigned to their projects.Accountable for the team s SLA targets & drive team todeliver contractual milestones and successful projectsCreates required project documentation and managesdeliveries, creating project plan, communications plans,and milestones with end customers in line with BT sProject & Programme Management methodoligiesManages project costs and resources in line withcommitments, managing variances to agreed plans andmanages associated risksCo-ordinates activities across multiple teams including theend customer to plan successful implementation ofprojectsMay also manage mid-size teams of Project ManagementProfessionals and Implementation Coordinators in additionto their Project Management work as individualcontributors.Strong project delivery skills to manage end-to-enddelivery of complex or multiple standard projects andprogrammesStrong communication & stakeholder managementrelationship skillsRequires experience working in collaboration withmultiple/ wider teams in a global environmentAbility to manage risks, issues and dependenciesthrough the lifecycle of the project.Ability to persuade, influence and inspire stakeholdersand colleagues to achieve business outcomesHigh degree of business and commercial acumenSignificant experience of leading and deliveringcomplex projects, requiring management of mediumtermand long-term timeframesProject Management CertificationHighly motivated and self-driven to deliver businessoutcomes, ability to prioritise based on deliveringwithin the project/programme parametersYoull have the following skills & experienceExperience of owning complex or multiple standardprojects and proven record of delivering against predeterminedrequirements.Experience managing multiple stakeholders andvendorsUnderstanding of ITIL Functions.Good understanding of IT & Telecom related productsand ServicesPractitioner of a formal Project Managementmethodology such as Prince2, APMP, ITIL qualification,Risk Management Qualification or 6 Sigma.Technical certification preferable (i.e.CCNA, CCNP,ACA, Security etc.)COVID-19 Notice: We ve changed our recruitment process so that we can continue to offer exciting opportunities in BT.
