Job Description

About the opportunityKey Responsibilities

  • Responsibility to ensure project deliverables conforms to business requirements/objectives
  • Understand the requirements, evaluate potential products / solutions and provide technical recommendations
  • Responsible for design, impact analysis for the requirements
  • Be hands on with technology and to contribute to the design and development of projects where deemed necessary
  • Liaison with Project Managers, Delivery Architect, Business Analyst and other Subject Matter experts to ensure successful deliveries.
  • Providing estimates as per the requirements specified by the business.
  • Complete projects in accordance with agreed standards i.e. operational acceptance criteria.
  • Identify and manage risks to conclusion escalating as appropriate
  • Work with project / operational areas as required to safeguard production service when changes are introduced into the production environment.
  • Raising the productivity and quality of development teams by promoting agile practices and sharing skills through mentoring and/or pairing.
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
  • Ability to apply development language knowledge to supply development solutions efficiently that comply with coding standards, technical design, performance requirements and functional specifications
Experience and Qualifications Required
  • 3-6 years of strong development experience on Microsoft technologies - WPF and .NET
  • Experience on WPF and corresponding Microsoft frameworks for developing desktop applications is a must.
  • Experience with office application add-in development using VSTO or Microsoft Knowledge Graph
  • .NET Framework and Microsoft technology stack SQL server, IIS, Windows Server etc.
  • Hands on experience in developing windows/web applications using .NET Framework/.NET Core.
  • Experience in developing thick client apps using UWP/WPF/Winform, Ent Library, PRISM, Unity IOC etc.
  • Strong programming experience using C# 5.0 and .NET framework 4.5.2
  • Application development tools and frameworks like Visual studio 2015, Resharper, FXCOP, StyleCop, Code analysis rules, Snoop, Fiddler etc.
  • Experience in writing unit tests case using NUNIT, MSTest, RhinoMock,MOQ,XUnit etc.
  • Experience with Third party .NET components like DevExpress/Infragistics
  • Some experience of SQL and Oracle development (or similar RDBMS)
  • Hands on with various design patterns like MVVM, MVC.
  • Experience with a continuous integration and build automation practices on any tool like Bamboo, Teamcity, Jenkins etcDesirable Skills / Experience
  • Knowledge of industry standard development and methodologies
  • Knowledge of industry standard project management and methodologies
  • Knowledge of SOA
  • Exposure to documentation and testing skills.
  • Good exposure on Infragistics tools
  • Understanding of Jira , SVN , tool
