Role Title : Senior Manager Technology - Enterprise ArchitectAn overview of your job role :This is a Senior level role where Enterprise Architect is expected to ensure that the overall architecture is maintained in a coherent manner and that appropriate consideration are made for its security and quality. The primary role of the Enterprise Architect is to ensure that the respective business, application, data and technology perspectives are in line with the organisations technology and governance strategies, policies and standards.A detailed look at your job responsibilities :- Translate business vision and strategy; work with a business group, engineering product delivery teams, process compliance, cloud infrastructure and IT functions to drive the architectural principles and design to provide thought leadership that enables transformational changes in the organization.- Analyse enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive technical architecture.- Analyse technology industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise.- Own solution design and architecture on internal and external initiatives- Oversee and facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards.- Understand, advocate and augment the principles of business and IT and more especially enterprise architecture (EA) strategiesYou are expected to be more than good at the following skills :- Candidates must have hands-on design and implementation experience and expert knowledge of a wide variety of technologies such as development tools and application servers, database servers, web servers, integration technologies.- 12-14 years of experience in enterprise solution design and architecture- Good understanding of technologies such as Web Portals, Content Management Systems, Mobile platforms, integration platforms, rules engines- 10+ years of experience in building/analyzing multi-tier application stacks and integration points.- Proven experience in the design and/or implementation of highly distributed applications (i.e.having an architecture ensuring availability, reliability, etc.) - Proven track record of building technical and business relationships with senior executives- Proven track record of handling and managing technology on large strategist accounts- Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow-through- Problem-solving mentality, leveraging internal and/or external resources aligning to organizational business goals.- Ability to connect technology with measurable business value- TOGAF or any other EA certification would be added advantage- Proficient in OOAD using UML & in the application of design patternsPersonal Attributes :- Analyse technology industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise.- Innovative and passionate for creating value- Dependability & Accountability- Good comprehension, analytical and presentation skills- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels in the organization.- Must be self-motivated, work independently or as part of a team, able to learn quickly, meet deadlines and demonstrate advanced problem solving and analytical skills.Must-haves : - 12+ years of relevant experience- Bachelors or Masters degree required in Computer Science or related field preferable,
