*Why this job mattersProviding (24X7) support to customers on services (incl. Out of Hours Support & Public Holidays etc.)As a Senior Request Fulfilment Engineer, candidate needs to provide technical support for Data and Security (LAN/WAN/WLAN/Security etc.) Service Requests and handle Simple to Complex changes, expedite Implementation for the BT Global customers e.g. 24x7x365. Candidate will need to do pre & post checks for the existing running configurations, assist and notify stake holders (e.g TDA, Service Desk & teams dealing other service towers) as well as customer proactively. If there is any network/Security related issue or RISK identified during validation, then candidate is required to communicate with relevant stakeholders. Also, support project work, migrations in addition to request fulfilment within Line of Business. To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated individual and quick learner, possess strong customer service and technical problem-solving skills; and be someone who embraces challenges.What I ll be doing your accountabilitiesAbility to analyse complex technical problemsTactful and patient with users/customer and all stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communication skills,Answering users queries over the phone, email, Request fulfilment tools/web portal.Follow standard procedures to escalate any unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teamsThe day to day activities would include following:Configuring various network devices and services (e.g., routers, Switches {Cisco & Nexus}, Wireless Controller, Access point, Huawei and Multivendor Fire walls etc.).Delivering implementation requests directly under Owning queue and implementing simple to complex changes for Cisco switches, routers, WLCs and Firewall.Managing Routing Protocol like EIGRP, OSPF & BGP as per demand.Good knowledge of different types of Network Module/ Card & cables & other hardware.Changes on LAN, WLAN like modification of VLAN in access & Trunk, MAC address binding & ARP table, Sticky MAC address, Add / modification Port-channel & Tunnel, SNMP, Access List, Port mirroring, NAT, PAT, DHCP, HSRP and GLBP, Policy based routing.Resolving 1st level of technically escalated cases from Request Fulfilment Engineer.Skills/Experience required for the Job:LAN/WAN/WLAN/Security experience, CCNP (R & S), Stack & VSS switches, Nexus, Meraki, Cisco ASA, F5, Zscaler (Knowledge of Multi OEM FW)Routing Protocol like EIGRP, OSPF & BGP & Troubleshooting skill.Ability to convey complex technical details coherentlyGood communication-Verbal and WritingTools and Other Tools understanding- Outlook, PPT, Excel, Expedio, BFG and IONIX etc.ITSM Process Process Knowledge as per industry best practices e.g. ITILV3,CMMI etc., *CCNA and CCNP ( R&S/Security) - Mandatory, ITILV3 is a PlusTotal 8+ Yrs Industry experience in Networks Domain
