Job Description

What you will doThis position will focus on new feature/component development as well as maintenance and stewardship of existing system software. This position requires the ability to work under minimal direction in collaboration with a team of engineers to design and develop robust system solutions that meet defined system requirements.How you will do it

  • Good verbal and written communication in English Language with an ability to express and understand complex technical concepts
  • Designing, documenting, and reviewing communications and real time based software applications.
  • Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications.
  • Participate in design and code reviews/inspections.
  • Provide input to technical discussions; propose solutions and alternatives.
  • Analyzing, trouble-shooting, and providing code fixes for reported problems and change requests.
  • Writing and executing unit tests.
  • Developing proof-of-concept prototypes; Providing work estimates
  • Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems
  • Should have can do attitude and initiative to start and complete the assigned activities.
What we look forRequired
  • Qualification - B.Tech or MCA
  • Must have 6-8 years software development experience
  • Platform: Linux
  • Expertise in C++, Multi-threading, socket communication, STL, Design Patterns, Data Structure, OOPS
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience on C/C++
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience on C/C++ multithreading
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience on Linux platform
  • Knowledge on BACnet will be preferred
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle. Use of UML
  • Code repository like GITHUB usage experience
  • Understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodology
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience of working with globally distributed teams.
Preferred
  • Anyone having BACnet experience will be considered
