Senior Java Engineer Job Description 1. Design, and develop carrier-grade Analytical solutions for the Telecommunications marketplace. This includes new product development and enhancing existing products. 2. Consult with internal and external organizations and clients to analyze and understand the product vision, objectives, success criteria, requirements, and desired features. 3. Work with the business team to define, analyze and understand business, functional, and technical requirements. 4. Produce and review product design for compliance with software requirements, design principles, coding standards, and related specifications. 5. Must have hands on ability to convert requirements, designs and other technical specifications into code 6. Must have high trouble shooting skills along with exploration skills to find out the root cause of various issues. 7. Conduct Technical Impact analysis to mitigate the risks. 8. Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. 9. Work with project management to define milestones, manage issues and risks Senior Java Engineer Job Requirements 1. BS/MS/PHD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent 2. 10 plus years of demonstrated experience in designing and developing carrier-grade software 3. You have least 5 years of experience using Java 4. You have experience with RESTful Services. 5. You understand relational databases. 6. You have basic SQL query skills 7. You have basic understanding of UI/UX design involving technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript ES6, CSS, Material Design, WebSockets, AJAX 8. Experience in J2EE/Spring/Hibernate (Required) 9. Experience in developing multi-threading and multi-processing server side code (Required) 10. Experience in SQL, Oracle (Required) 11. Experience in developing REST services (Advantage) 12.
